2022 was an important year for revisions and changes in food contact material standards and regulations. With the introduction and improvement of a new batch of Chinese product safety standards, product compliance has become a crucial issue for businesses in their operations and development processes. The European Union, the United States, Germany, and other regions and countries have also implemented significant revisions to food contact material regulations, making sustainable development of food contact materials a hot topic in the industry and society.
Against this background, the 2022 International Food Contact Material Safety Forum will be held in Guangzhou from October 20th to 22nd, 2022. Co-hosted by the National Key Laboratory for Food Contact Material Testing (in Guangdong, Changzhou, and Ningbo) and the Food Contact Material Committee of China Food Industry Association, the forum will bring together over 30 professionals from various government departments, universities, research institutions, and industries, to provide cutting-edge, in-depth, and focused insights. They will share the latest regulatory trends and innovative research on the sustainable development of food contact materials. Additionally, core experts from the National Standards Development Working Group have been specially invited to provide training on the new national safety standards for food contact materials, helping enterprises stay updated on regulatory changes and requirements and effectively manage compliance and quality control.
Furthermore, this forum continues its collaboration with the renowned Chinese journal of analytical chemistry, "Journal of Instrumental Analysis," and outstanding academic papers collected will be published in the 10th issue of this year as a special volume on food contact materials.
